The Ramappa Temple is located in the Palampur village of Warangal district in Telangana region. Located at a distance of 77 kms from Warangal and 230 kms from Hyderabad. This is the only temple in India named after the Architect not the Deity. It was built under the patronage of the King Ganapathi Deva by his Chief Commander Rudra Samani.The temple has been described as the "brightest star in the galaxy of medieval temples in the Deccan".
